Overview
Coppola’s Roasted Garlic Sauce is a flavorful alternative to our classic Marinara sauce. Exceptional alone with toasted baguettes or with grilled meats, Coppola’s Roasted Garlic Sauce will get you rave reviews from your family and friends.
Tuscan sauce is made from a combination of crushed plumb tomatoes, roasted garlic cloves, celery, onions, garlic and spices simmered with extra virgin olive oil and heavy crème. Roasted Garlic is a hearty sauce that will surprise and stimulate your appetite with every bite. We combine traditional roasted garlic with savory herbs to create a hearty, delicious sauce.
Roasting the garlic makes it sweet and slightly nutty. Simmering the garlic with onions, and celery, allows the full flavor of the roasted garlic to shine through our sauce.
Wine Pairing
Steaks
Pinot Noir, Lechthaler Trentino Pinot Nero
There's a dark, smoky element to the bouquet of this Italian Pinot Nero that gives it a dusty, almost gritty feel. A wild berry flavor is followed by notes of crushed stone and cured meat.
Seafood
Pacific Rim Chenin Blanc, Hahn Hill Vineyard, Washington State
Pale straw in color with a floral bouquet. Hints of key lime and melon. Delicious with dishes with a little spice. The vines from Hahn Hill Vineyard were planted in 1968, some of the oldest vines in the Columbia Valley.
Chicken
Chablis, Domaine Christian Moreau Pere et Fils, France
Bright pale yellow. Penetrating, complex aromas of mirabelle, pineapple, wild herbs and powdered stone. Supple and sweet on the palate; a bit less brisk than the nose suggests but with a hint of tart citrus fruit giving the finish a firm edge.
Pasta
Prosecco Extra Dry, Il Colle di Valdobbiadene DOC , Italy
Founded in 1972 by Fabio Ceschin (whose family have made wine since the 1920s) Il Colle lies amid the rolling hillsides of San Pietro di Feletto, to the north of Italy's Treviso region, which Italian wine aficionados will recognize as Prosecco country. This is a fine example of the style, fresh and dry, with crisp green apple flavor and ephemeral bubbles.
